today, i formally relinquished and ended my position as the Supreme Student Government President of Naga City Science High School by submitting the Annual Accomplishment of the SSG for School Year 2008-2009 to the office of the principal. wats next? i don't know for now... but one good thing that happened to me was that i was able to be introduced to the incoming freshmen by the mr. alferez. soo unexpected.

mau russ... maluya ang napiling president ngunyan.
maluya ang brigada... maluya ang donations.

the above-stated statement is a statement given to me by one of my favorite teachers in the school. well, i can say that i must be thankful to that teacher for all the helps that he have given to the SSG, making our job easier as expected. i must be thankful to him for being understanding and supportive. in fact, i am really thankful hoping that someday maibabalik ko man kay sir ang gbos na tabang nya sq.

when sir said the statement, two things bubble in my mind. did we set the bar too high for the next president not to reach it but to exceed or did we set the bar that high but that wrongly? for all i know, in my own personal reason, i have done my job to the fullest of my ability. i did it not to gain either popularity or personal advantages because i want it! and i did it because i believe i can. but hey, i can't do it alone! a successful year in the SSG is not because of the president alone but also because of the people around him. in the organization, i can say that i cant do all the things i have done without the help of my fellow officers, in particular it was ALEX who did helped me a lot! so, i would like to take this opportunity to give them their must have accolades salamatoooooon saindo gabos!

going back to the statement... i think that it was given untimely and wrongly. the school year is yet to begin. why judge the incoming president because of the low number of donations? why judge the incoming president because of 'maluyang' brigada? maybe yes! the donations is really that low this year compared last year. maybe yes! maluya ang brigada ngunyan. but come to think of it. this year is differen than last year. problems last year are different this year. circumstances are different. everything is different. one example is that last year, we don't have a teacher-adviser thus forcing us to do it ourselves... this year they do have but for some reasons ma'am nhel is unavailable thus leaving them without a teacher-adviser to guide them. last year, all of the attention was at the brigada but this year attention was divided among the summer classes, summer enrichment classes and others. thus, i can say it's unfair not only for the next president to be judged as 'maluya' considering the circumstances around her and her officers. iba ang ngaun kaysa bukas.

i believed that the incoming president and the incoming officers need not judgment nor inconsideration but support for them to be successful and for them not to reach the bar but exceed that the outgoing SSG have set. as i can say it, nag-uumpisa pa lang ang laban ni krizzia and her fellow officers.. they have more to proved and i believe that they can do it!

to the incoming officers, don't make judgment like the above-stated statement hinder your way but instead make it an inspiration for you to reach you goal and do your job properly thus proving the 'judge' is wrong. you have way to go! but make the most out of it.

to the naguenians of school year 2009-2010, support them. after all, its your support that will help them succeed in the projects.

on the other hand, this day was quite a good day of fun, entertainment and enjoyment. i was able to watch the film 'ANGELS and DEMONS' with my two grlfrnds namely, mara and zelita. kitz, annie, gerona and zaldy. first time q man pti sa SM Cinema. hehe. astig si film! suppeer! nagetz ko! i am so HAPPY! hehe. and first time q mgbucket sa KFC. (plus jemar and alex) hehe.

i have been a student of Naga City Science High School for the last four years. i with my batchmates have experienced the ups and downs, stressful days, sleepless nyts, super duper challenges, cramming, non-stop kalokohan, sermon from our teachers, jammings, overnyts, and many many more that can be summed up to our beautiful and colorful high school life.

naaalala q pa kng first time kming mgkhrlngan that was during the summer enrichment of May 2005. mau pang bstadong iba excpt sa kklase or kschool mo kng elementary. mau png msyadong friends and halos supog png mgpbsto mghello or hi sa mga soon-to-be-classmates and batchmates q. inosente pa sa mga bagay-bagay o sbi ngani kyan mga totoy-totoy pa. i remember then, adjusting was never been to easy. maray na lang may mga bgu kng mga friends na nbsto and nksabay mo sa pag-adjust from being an elementary school boy to a 'handsome' high school teen.

FIRST YEAR: the year of the new year. indeed! i call my first year as the year of the new year simply because it's the year of the new beginning of the four years of my high school life. during the first year, i was with the one-falcon. an awesome group of students having different personalities. the start of the colorful high school life i have experienced. naalala q pa ang mga bagay-bagay like the obedience na igwa ang section mi kdto. kng ngsbi si ma'am na dae mgluwas tlgang dae ngruluwas mski ngbell na. the endless open forums kung sain dae nwwara ang hiribian, ngiriritan and mnsan ang pglala pa ning misunderstandings. ini ang year na irigot pa ang mga tao sa studies and sa mga projects like the song and dance number kng SS Day. inosentihun pa (cguro!).

SECOND YEAR: the year of action. as an expression of a group in the batch says 'MAAKSYUNUN' when i entered second year, i was with star section then. hmm. cguro ngkamali sa pgtype ng name and himalang nksali ako sa star section. but during this year, i together with my batchmates have experienced a lot of actions from biorap.biopageant.etc.etc. this year was actually one of the best years for me aside from the senior year. during this year, kalokohans are slowly forming, friendships cherished and happy moments have doubled in number. sympre, more maturity nman. and also second year kmi ng nngyari ang mutya and lakan. which unexpectedly, ngng emcee aq. pro isa sa pnka-action ng year na to ay ang pgkakaalis or pag-alis ng dalawa nming teacher because of us.

THIRD YEAR: the year of kalokohans. yeah! you hear it right! kalokahans! endless kalokohans have been part of my third year stay in sci.hay. name it all and siguro 3/4 nun nandito sa year nato! also, it was on this year that we have conducted the z games kung saan ngchampion kmi. thnx Bro. it was in this year that i have experienced sleepovers, true sleepless nights, crammings, the 'c' word and many more. sympre mas nggrow ang friendships. different groups have been formed and soo much more. wooh! enjoy!

FOURTH YEAR: the BEST year. hmm. year of mixed-emotions. drama dito-drama doon. tawa dito-tawa doon. super! hai nku. speechless aq. haha. sympre mas maogma ang senior year pro sad to say last shot na. hmm. anu bang masasabi q? BEST YEAR in sci.hay!

it's the 7th day of May we're just on the mid-2nd quater of the year just few weeks away from the stepping and beginning the next chapter of our lives (zephy). good luck to all of us! anyways, i was reminded of the Pacquaio-Hatton fight wherein pacman knock-out the pride of manchester. but not the fight, nor the knock down of hatton urged me to write this entry for my blog.

i'm thinking that those who have watched the fight on GMA-7 was aware of the lenghty commercials between the rounds of the fight. and i say that one of the commercials caught my attention and it was this one:


many artists coming from the different worlds of showbizness particulary from ABS and GMA plus some people from private sectors and the academe have appeared in the commercial urging people to join their advocacy in promoting social change.

i can say that i was one of those people who have tried to access the site projected along the commercial, i registered and wrote my 'pledge' as part of the thing that i can do to create and be a part of the big social change for the glory of the Philippines. but upon seeing the entries of the site, in particular the 'WALL OF COMMITMENT' i was quite disappointed in the insincerity of some people that have accessed and created their own pledges. but that was ok!

though i can say that the site or the advocacy promotes and encourages Filipinos to do and be a part of 'CHANGE' that can affect the history of the Philippine Republic. i can say that the tagline or the title of the advocacy disagrees with the filipino spirit of BAYANIHAN wherein Filipinos help each others thus leaving no one behind and creating a greater wave of change, if i may say it. i guess, the advocacy would be better if it can also create and promote a spirit of unity and camaraderie among the Filipinos who have pledged to do their part and to encourage them to be part o a 'ONE PHILIPPINES' that someday will be facing the whole world as better people for a better world. maybe mas maganda ang "TAYO MISMO."

Let's help each other and also others and others of people to take part in creating not just a big wave but a GIGANTIC HUGE TIDAL WAVE of change for our country. pro mas maganda pa rin kung mag-uumpisa tayo sa ating sarili as Mahatma Gandhi have said, "be the change you want to see in the world" (am i right?). have your say!

ngaung araw ay itinakda ng ating mga kalendaryo sa unang araw ng mayo ang araw ngayong araw. anu kaya yun?? hmm. nguluhan aq bgla sa akng mga pngsasabi. ngunit kahit ganun ang nangyayari sa akng sarili ay owkie pa naman aq. speaking of the first day of May, a couple of FIRSTS crossed my life. xudee life pati. well, aside from the fact na first time mgbubukas ng first sm mall sa bicol na dinumog ng kararami-raming bicolano from all over the region (pero hndi aq ksali dun) ay meron pa naman ibang firsts.

soo. gnito yun. usually, may pasok man o wala, i sleep past midnight na. its either ngcchat aq, ngbblog o sadyang wala lang tlga aqng magawa sa aking buhay at trip q lang mgpuyat. yesternight ay ngkakailang tao lang ang akng kchat and one of them is alex, my highschool closefriend. malayo ang narating ng aming maiksing usapan. ng-umpisa kmi sa accomplishment report ng SSG na ktatapos pa lamang naming gawin kagabi. pgktpos ay napadpad kmi sa monumento (parang malapit sa quiapo. chambahun!). after sagupain ang traffic sa monumento nglang nakarating kmi sa 'advocacy' ng pggng environmental activist. later on, sa h/s crush nman kmi. oh well, i just remember who is my first h/s crush at ssbhin q kung sino mamaya. haha. tpos naman na ang high school at matagal na yun soo i thnk ukie na. after, nkrating kmi sa ends (referring to seating arrangement) na ngsimula ng summer enrichment. pgktpos naman ay nkarating kmi sa aking kamatayan. yah. tama! pgktpos ng mga bagay na nbanggit sa itaas ay may pnbasa sya sa akin. pro sa ksamaang palad ay napatawa lamang aq dahil sa pgkahaba-haba ng binasa q ay hndi q nman naintndihan tpos may pnbasa pa syang isa about love kung saan natalo q si alex.
