volunteerism

i remembered that just after the values enrichment for the first year which happened on august, the "wishing wall" posted on one of the white boards of AH ICTC was not removed. perhaps, nakalimutan na. upon seeing it, i was thinking to remove it but i did otherwise. i get my blue sign pen and write as many wishes as i could with the help of my classmates and batchmates. ako lang yung taga-sulat at sila ang taga-bigay ng wish. so, i started putting any kind of wish from success of madam vida for her doctoral studies, marriage for madam che, money for those who need it like me, good health, lovelife which happens to be the blockbuster wish, and so on. then, if my memory serves me right, my "wednesday girlfriend" terelle as she calls herself put there:

after some time, perhaps weeks, may sumagot! aba! pwede daw siya. haha. magpakilala ka nga sa akin ng masubukan! well, sympre joke lang yun. departmental policy bans intimate and romantic relationships between social work students. babaeng kaibigan na lang. haha. bottomline, wala lang. natuwa lang ako sa pag-volunteer! keep it up and thanks 'anonymous!'

while surfing some blog sites, i came across one which caught my attention. it was poem made from the acrostics of my name. and since it was about me i choose to re-blog it. here it goes:

i don't know but before going to sleep, i often found myself listening to

the song. probably waiting for or thinking of someone whom i can

dedicate the song to. oo, masaya maging single pero nakakamiss din.

but it's okay for me because right now, i don't have any plans for

anything related to love, puso or kung ano mang related things.

just like what i always tell angelo, my priorities for now are different.

7. matry sumali sa search for mr. and ms. cssp next year kung maging successful at matuloy ang pagwork-out ko sa gym sa january;
8. magbowling lessons sa pe4;
9. matuloy ang social work congress 2011;
10. makapasa sa battery exam;
11. manatiling academic scholar ngaung second semester;
12. manatili sa top 30 dean's listers ng bucssp for ay 2010-2011;
13. magtour na kami sa naga (parang hindi lang ako taga-naga eh) para sa aming rizal class at social welfare perspective;
14. pumuti ng konti;
15. mag-enjoy pagkatapos ng battery exam pasado man o hindi;
16. magawa na ang book of myself ko; at higit sa lahat;
17. maglaro ng badminton sa summer para sa aking work-outs;
18. mag-aral maglawn tennis;
19. magkaroon ng determination na gawin ang mga nakasulat sa taas!; at,
20. makasama siya.

14 TIPS NI BOB ONG SA MGA TORPE. HAHA.

1. Bili ka ng century tuna. Ilagay mo sa isang napakalaking box—yung sinlaki ng TV o kaya box ng desktop PC mo. Tapos balutan mo ng magarang pambalot. Kuntsabahin mo na yung teacher niya sa Calculus. Sa gitna ng klase, bigla kang kumatok sa classroom. Pero dapat, incognito ka. Magsuot ka ng LBC jacket, magshades, at magsuot ng surgical mask. Pagpasok mo sa classroom, iabot mo yung box sa teacher, at papirmahin mo ng acknowledgement receipt. Tapos pabuksan mo in front of everyone. Tignan mong mabuti ang reaction sa mukha niya.

Later during the day, pag tinanong niya kung bakit Century Tuna ang binigay mo, iikot mo yung lata at ituro mo yung sign na “Omega 8.” Pag tinanong niya kung ano yung Omega 8, sabihin mo: “because you’re good for my heart.”

2. Mangolekta ka ng isang dosenang hanger na libre mong nakukuha tuwing nagpapa-dry clean ka. Tapos, sa bawat hanger, isulat mo: “I miss hanging out with you.”
