#mntXMAS

we conducted our group's Christmas party last December 16 and it was a blast! reminiscing the parties we had since first year, i decided to 'combine' it and presto, the Mababangis Christmas Celebration through the years! MERRY CHRISTMAS MNT!

disclaimer for myself

i'm becoming busier every day. requirements after requirements are being given by the six major subjects that we have (if my memory serves me right or was it five?). anyway, a lot of catching up is still to be done with regards to my blogging. however, i don't have the luxury of time and the internet access that i need. sayang! anyway, as things become more challenging, i must learn to adapt. hindi pa ata ako graduating. third year pa lang ako. kung ganito ang third year, ano na kaya ang fourth year. anyway, since, i gave a promise to myself to blog whatever i would like to blog, the so be it. as usual, just like what is written on the right corner of my blog page, posts here (mostly) are ante dated. haha. ayos na yun basta may post. :)

smalltalk and weeksary of bjorn&sime

kuya bjorn and sime's first weeksary at ako and si ruksii ay dakilang extra. HAPPY FIRST WEEKSARY sa kanila and thank you kuya bjorn for the opportunity to eat for free at smalltalk cafe. one of albay's most expensive places to dine. haha. oo ba? basta mahal pero masarap (wag lang yung laing pizza). anyway, masaya, nakakabusog at enjoy! :D

#12.01

my 2011 Christmas Wishlist

Christmas is fast approaching. it's actually just less than a month before the celebration of the birth of Jesus. personally, isa ang pasko sa mga bagay na pinakahihintay ko. masaya, makulay, kumukutikutitap ang mga ilaw, people on a Christmas rush, Christmas songs, priceless smiles and happiness of the people around, cold air at napakarami pang mga bagay na kahit anong liit ay sapat ng rason para maging maligaya.

at dahil pasko, i deem it timely to produce my 2011 Christmas Wishlist. baka may makabasa at magdecide na i-fulfill kahit isa lang. i'll be presenting it in no particular order or preference basta nasa lista gusto ko! haha. walang kokontra. gawa ka din ng wishlist mo besides hindi masama magwish. also, this includes some unrealistic things pero yun na yun. haha. let's start!

NUMBER ONE: BAG or BACK PACK preferrably

matagal-tagal na rin akong hindi nakaka-experience ng back pack of my own. gusto ko lang matry ulit pero wag lang yung masyadong malaki pero wag din namang masyadong maliit. mas maganda kung kasya ang laptop. haha.

NUMBER TWO: CELLPHONE

my current cellphone which happens to be a china phone is now three years old. way beyond the normal "life expectancy" of a china phone which is one year. mama said she will buy me a new cellphone and i am excited over that fact. however, perhaps it is still unrealistic for the moment given our current financial situation. anyway, gusto ko pa rin. i don't care kung anong brand pero mas feel ko ang nokia or samsung wag lang china phone. :)

NUMBER THREE: HANKY LOTS OF HANKIES

i am a person who is uncomfortable without having a handkerchief with me. i guess my explanation is enough. haha.

NUMBER FOUR: TUMBLER

para mas makatipid na ako ng pera dahil hindi ko na kelangan bumili ng mineral water everday. instead, hihingi na lang ako sa department. haha. :)

NUMBER FIVE: UNDERWEARS

i'm not being scandalous here and i think there is nothing wrong having underwear in my wishlist. eh may mga pangyayaring hindi inaasahan and besides magtotour kami this summer for 11 days at walang labahan. share lang. :)

NUMBER SIX: MALETA

isang maletang kasing laki ng picture on the right would do. haha. pang-adik lang. pero pwede rin naman ang maleta in anticipation for our summer tour as part of the curriculum and for my future travels as well

NUMBER SEVEN: TEEs

gusto ko din ng bagong t-shirts or anything that i could wear. size: medium or large depending on the brand. :)

NUMBER EIGHT: TEAM MANILA WALLET or
ANY KIND OF WALLET

i'm dedicating this item for lekks. haha. anyway, i will also appreciate wallet (not necessarily that of team manila. kay alekks lang yun). pero mas appreciated kung may laman. :p

NUMBER NINE: SAPATOS (vans, toms or kahit rubber shoes)

sapatos, eto ata ang isang bagay na mahirap hanapin para sa akin. marami akong gustong bilihing sapatos noon pa. ang problema, walang kasya sa paa ko. gusto ko ito! sapatos! sapatos! sapatos!

NUMBER TEN: DSLR CAMERA

isa sa mga pangarap ko at isa din sa mga unrealistic things that i included here. haha. share lang. :)

LASTLY,
ANYTHING FROM THE HEART

Christmas is the time of sharing and gift-giving and i believe it's not the time to demand things from other people. i created this list not to demand from people who is considering giving a gift to me but to give them a clue as to what i prefer. but let me reiterate it again, i appreciate anything from anyone basta galing sa puso. :p

#mmk

i wasn't able to watch the mmk episode today but i was able to see it's ending. timely with the agency visit we had at Holy Face Rehabilitation Center for Mental Health in Tabiguian, Tabaco City, the episode was about a girl suffering from mental illness specifically with schizophrenia and was being accused by the people as being the 'aswang.' i took the courage of posting a simple and similar message both in facebook and in twitter. the one i posted in fb is below and i was amazed by the 24 likes it received after two hours.

i displayed the same message in twitter and after two hours, my tweet was retwitted by resaabigail who happens to be a producer of the show. anyway, natuwa lang ako. haha.

anyway, i hope that those people who had retwitted and liked the post will do their own little way of promoting the stoppage of stigmatizing persons who are mentally ill because they also have their worth and dignity and that they are also persons. no more, no less.

Six Odd Ideas That Are Not Really Odd for BU

i've been a BUeño for almost six semesters now or three academic years. since the first year of my stay in BU, i've been exposed to a lot of things, both good and bad, admirable and disgusting things about the regarded premier state university in the Bicol Region. good thing such as the drive of the administration, staffs and students to make things better for BU despite its limited resources and bad things such as the mentality to only fix and beautify things when there is accreditation or a visiting VIP and the lack of facilities that still hounds the university in fully attaining its vision as an excellent academic institution.

i can say that in my case, i don't have anything to say about the kind of education my department is giving me and all the social work students. though the funds for books acquisition which is needed to update sources for social work courses is not being given by the administration, the department was able to find ways to do such things. plus, i believe that most of my professors are utmost competent in teaching the courses which is the very reason why the BUCSSP Social Work Department is one of the top social work school in the country today with the Mindanao State University as its prime competitor. anyway, my satisfaction about my department is not in anyway related to this post because this post is about some of my ideas that are not really odd which i can say might help BU and the BUeños in some little or perhaps big way. however, most of it are extra-curricular related. let me start!

first, if there is one part that BU continuously failing, i think it will be the part where BU inculcate to its students the love for their university. for instance, i find it very disgusting that during the four year stay of BUeños in the university, 90% - 95% is ignorant about the hymn of the university. worst, i find it very very disgusting that even some of the staff (both teaching and non-teaching) are also ignorant about the university hymn. i don't know, but i guess it's more than the VMGO that matters which i think is just included in the curriculum for accreditation matters. i mean, unlike other student from other universities, if they can, they will shout to the bottom of their lungs that they are from their university and that is not happening in BU. students are being apathetic and they do not develop the love for the university. is it the attitude of the students alone or it is also the system to blame? the system where the students (though we are supposedly being regarded as the most important part of the university) cannot feel that they are an important piece of the university puzzle. i dream of the day that BU and BUeños will do the things that the students of UP, ADMU, other Manila universities and even ADNU does when their school emerge victorious from competitions, that is to shout and sing their school hymn or march while raising their right hands. i dream of the day when BUeños would shout in chorus Go BU! Go BU! Go BU! i dream of the day when BUeños will be very proud wearing their school shirts or shirts inspired by being a BUeño. and here my first idea enters, why not create a 3 or 2 unit course, Know your University during first year where students will be taught with the VMGO (instead of having it every start of the semester), hymn and all other BU things that can help the students get more understanding about their university. i know it will not develop the student's love for their university 100% but somehow, i know something might be changed. (This idea was inspired by UNC's Know your University course given to their freshmen students)

second, i suggested informally to a USC officer whom i know personally about an event which can be called BUnyag which is very much the same with UST Freshmen Walk wherein their freshmen students will pass through the Arch of the Centuries on the start of their UST and college life. well, BU doesn't have an Arch of the Centuries but BU now have its four pillars. why not create an event that will serve as a ceremonial baptism to all the freshmen students of Bicol University through passing under the four pillars. Its one way of welcoming aside from the usual welcome party for freshmen. (picture below taken from the official website of the university)

third, NCF is Tigers, STI is Olympians, ADNU is Golden Knights, AUL is Phoenix, DWCL is Falcons, BC is Maroons, ICCA is Cardinals, Sorsogon State College (SSC) is Whale sharks (if i am right) and BU is unidentified. though having a team nickname or moniker is not in anyway a requirement for a university, it doesn't mean that BU cannot adopt such. my idea is that BU to adopt a team moniker because in one way it can engender the team or school spirit that BU obviously lacks. i think for originality and rareness sake, why not adopt BU Volcanoes (though it is the name of the PH Rugby National Team) inspired by the presence of the majestic Mt. Mayon.

fourth, Fun Run for Social Work Department which i am preparing to make things happen. naisip ko lang idagdag. anyway, perhaps the better idea is that conduct activities that will promote the university more. :)

fifth, since it Christmas, this one is Christmas related. hmm. Christmas in BU is simple but is also a color-filled one because of the different Christmas decorations of the different colleges in Bicol University. however, i think why not BU make a Christmas related activity aimed at promoting the advocacy and expertise of the different departments or colleges in the university. however, this suggestion is for the BU Daraga Campus only where my college is located. hm. why not conduct a Paskuhan sa BUDC which will be filled with inter-college Christmas activities highlighted by Christmas displays to be located in the vacant land in stretching from the front of Arcilla Hall up to CBEM which can be seen from Rizal St. and can bear the different departmental advocacy and expertise just like what i mentioned awhile ago. plus, maximizing the vacant lots and an opportunity for IGP for the two colleges, it would be better if booths selling different merchandise and foods as well will be put in place along with the Christmas displays.

sixth, etong last ang isa sa sinuggest ko talaga while i am a csc representative last academic year at tinawanan ako ng mga kasama ko. sabi ko, bakit hindi tayo gumawa ng Dr. Ricardo Arcilla Student Excellence Award to be given to the top student of the college at tinawanan nga nila. anyway, ang iniisip ko lang naman ay since one of the very few things that the CSSP is known is the Arcilla Hall, why not name an award or recognition after the first BU President. After all, it's during his term that the roots of CSSP was started through BUCAS. one way din yun ng pag-encourage ng students to aspire in coveting the award.

well, yan lang naman po ang naiisip ko for now. i believe there is nothing wrong with sharing ideas. sayang naman kung mananatili lang sa utak ko. after all, i am a BUeño and in my own little way, i want to help BU become a better university. :)

23.11.11

eerie twenty-fourth

today is november 24, 2011, thursday and there seem to be an eerie (at least in my perspective) atmosphere in Bicol University. classes in MP/CAL building are said to be suspended tomorrow, the fences, gates and even buildings are re-painted, light bulbs were replaced with new bulbs, the facade of MP Building was well-lighted at night same with the four pillars of the university - all because of the ISO visit and the visit of President Noynoy Aquino for the Inauguration of the Climate Change Academy of Albay which is located at Bicol University.

well, the eerie thing was because of the unusual cleanliness of the university and the extra-ordinary politeness of some of the rude security guards of the university. naisip ko tuly, sana everyday ISO visit. sana everyday AACUP Accreditation at sana everyday bibisita si PNoy para mas maganda, maayos at mas malinis ang beyubs.

i wonder why this kind of mentality is still being observed by BU up to now. hindi ba pwedeng kahit walang bibisitang VIP o accreditors, maayos ang BU? I wonder...

PuregoldAtKaligayahan

wednesday is a mass day for MnT and after such a long time of not attending mass on the said days for the previous months, i am happy that we were able to attend our first wednesday mass for the semester. after attending mass with friends, mean, ja'de and i decided to eat at Wah Foo Chan. yumyum. salap! haha. and since it was also the opening of Puregold Embarcadero we went there for the sake of pakikiusyuso. what happened next? almost hundreds of photos were taken which is equal to another dose of happiness with friends. :)

21.11.11

mntSPECIAL

20.11.11

experience

11/19/11
been to the beautiful town of Casiguran in Sorsogon province to facilitate a personality development training for children and youth beneficiaries of the Green Valley Development Program and World Vision Development Foundation, Inc. the experience was exhausting and the hardest sa lahat ng training na nagfacilitate ako. but the tiredness is all worth it seeing from the children's faces that they learned something. plus, mas masaya dahil kasama ko ang mga kaibigan and i have received my first token as a facilitator. haha. :)

#JaRuMaRoKa

11/19/10 - 11/19/11
ngayon, one year na kami. kaming jarumaroka. and i guess we're getting
stronger. haha. salamat sa napakaraming bagay ja'de, mean, ruksii and triinabeyb!
sa marami pang susunod na taon! :)

15.11.11

u-turn slot

after thinking for sometime, i think i announce my retraction of the statements i made about "maturity" and MnT after a short talk with Kuya Bjorn. moreover, i stand by what i said in the entirety of the statements i had made. come to to think of it, masarap din naman sa feeling ang mag-burst out at some point in time. :)

12.11.11

kasuhan na!

i think i must sue melvin for breach of privacy for posting a link of my previous blogpost in the mababangis.wrar group page in facebook without consent. however, i think i will lost the case because my blog is public. tsktsk. my point is, while it is okay to promote my blog and encourage others to read my posts, i will very much appreciate if my consent will be first asked. bow. haha. nonetheless, ayos na ako dun. haha. :)

11.11.11

my RANT

kami ang MnT. We're friends since first year college up to now and this is what i am proud and happy of. our growing and strengthening friendship despite our differences is something to be celebrated. well, everything's fine within the group i suppose. there are no internal problems because we value smooth interpersonal relationship which honestly becomes bad at some point. however, we have proved that we can stood with whatever stands in our way. so far, so good!

however, when we talk about external matters, there's a different atmosphere and it's a different subject matter which for me is complicated-but-not-complicated. it's not because a problem with classmates or batchmates but it's more of a problem with how some people with authority bestowed upon them misunderstood and prejudged not only some individual members of the group but the group in general. judgement that unfortunately do not only affect the group but the whole batch as well. anyway, this blogpost is abouy my rant and my rant only. this is me speaking as me and not as a student of social work but as the normal and ordinary me who want to speak my mind. matagal ko na rin gustong magsalita but i choose to keep silent and instead just write a blogpost. buti na lang i am always reminded with the principle na "intindihin mo na lang dahil ikaw ang nakakaintindi" though sometimes i wonder how long shall we understand.

just last tuesday (if i can remember), two MnT friends have a conversation with a person with authority due to some business in between them. after their conversation, they were asked to share or were given the approval to share whatever she have said during the conversation full of lashing and unfounded generalization and judgement in my own opinion.

"Birds of the same feathers, flock together," "pare-parehas kayong immature," "hindi talaga maganda tumulong lagi" and "kaya nagbago ang blocking para mapaghiwa-hiwalay kayo (referring to the group)" are among the other things that she said. i found it judgmental on her part. maganda din naman na ang pagkakamali ng isa ay kasalanan ng lahat but to label all including those who don't do immature acts is very judgmental on her part. i found it ironic that the people who should be the epitome of professionalism are the ones who are not keen in observing what they have been telling their learners since the start. worse, her message on how helping can be bad is way out of proportions. nakakainis!

sabi niya we're immature, because every time she sees us, we're smiling and laughing our lungs out despite the stressors around which includes mountain high requirements? because where being childish and we're guilty of it but that's our coping mechanism? because we're happy and not in vain or misery? we're branded as immature albeit we can live up to the expectations given to us; albeit we perform extra-jobs or carriages that not all students dare to carry; albeit our active extra-curricular life which somehow can be justified by the positions that MnT members hold, to wit: (includes posts being hold on a concurrent status with other posts)

  • 5 are presidents of either the class, college based organization or creative circle
  • 2 are vice-presidents of either the class, college based organization or creative circle
  • 2 are secretaries of a college based organization
  • 3 are treasurers of either a university based organization, college based organization or class
  • 1 is an auditor of a university based organization
  • 3 are members of the editorial staff of the ally
  • 1 is a muse and title-holder
  • 5 are facilitators of college based organization

yeah. i know maturity cannot be measured by the number of position one may hold but i think it has a bearing. perhaps the good question is that, what is the maturity that she wanted? ewan. i don't know if i am making a point here. naisip ko pa, it's just the start of the second semester and ganito na. shall we be expecting a hell-semester? anyway, sa pagkakakilala ko sa grupo, hindi kami nagapapapekto ng sobra sa mga ganitong bagay pero we also know how to burst-out just like everybody else. i know that someday, somehow, we'll prove those persons who judged us wrong. sigurado ako!

10.11.11

blogmates

:)

i'm just happy that my friends started blogging here in blogger. haha. latest was laisa who was inactive for almost a year, then melvz and sime who were just starting plus kuya bjorn who blogs occasionally these days because of his hectic working schedule as well as mean and roxanne who have their blogs but are inactive because of the lack of motivation. haha. to my new blogmates and old friends, WAY TO GO! may you be motivated to stay here and express yourself!

9.11.11

umpisa ng laban?

MY FIRST "HOMEWORK" FOR THE SECOND SEMESTER!
but not technically though, it's somehow a requirement for an extra-curricular undertaking i had way back July. haha. anyway, good thing i was able to produce a 25 pages reflection/insight paper for my art therapy experience. haha. well, joking aside, 3 pages lang ho. at nilabas ko na ang saloobin ko!

second semester schedule

second semester is up and running. this time, all my subjects are MAJOR! first week of classes, pagod na ako sa list of requirements! haha. anyway, i'm up for the challenge. i know i can do this! haha. ALL WILL BE WELL FOR SECOND SEMESTER!

#DaBestPasko

I believe that this is one of the things that ABS-CBN is consistently very good at - Christmas Station ID. Throughout the years, ABS presents new concept and theme of Filipino Christmas. for sure, the Da Best ang Pasko ng Pilipino song will be a hit comes the Christmas Party or Christmas Celebrations in the country. WELL DONE ABS-CBN!

ps. but i still believe that their most successful station ID is the Star ng Pasko way back 2009 because of ramdam na ramdam yun ng mga tao and my personal favorite, Tuloy na Tuloy pa rin ang Pasko some years before. haha. :)

8.11.11

realization 5

One time I got angry with a very dear friend of mine because I thought she hurt me with her actions and that she broke her promise to me. However, I realized that she did not do something wrong because in the first place, there’s no promise to fulfill except that she failed to inform me on her whereabouts one night when she was supposedly homebound. I realized that my sky high expectation which she seldom meet sparked my anger. Marasapang expectation ko to! Bottomline, I should start lowering my expectations to prevent situations like this from happening again.

7.11.11

Pilipinas, Tara Na! v.2 and v.3

last time, i posted the newest version of Byahe Tayo made by the department of tourism in line with the launching of their domestic tourism promotion campaign (?). haha. well, that was the first version. now there are two other versions, obviously, it's the second and the third version and should you be interested to watch please do so below. haha. (parang may mali lang. basta yun na yun)

ps. i found out about the second version through alfred's blog. :)

second semester worries

the second semester for this academic year is dawning. new set of classmates, new professor, new and harder course or subjects to attend to, same old notebooks, new schedule that i personally don't like so far and i guess a different me. i don't know but i guess i should step up my game in academics thinking that mama personally said that she wants me to graduate with a laude honors. sabi ko, ayos lang yan ma miski mayo basta maggraduate but she insisted. i said i am worrying because i think my grades for the first semester are low and thus, i will not be eligible for academic scholarship. worse, if i have a grade below 2.4, my and my mother's laude dreams will be forever gone. personally, i told myself that whatever happens, it's okay with me. pero ibang kaso kasi kung nagsabi na ang magulang mo na sa graduation day mo ay may laude honors ka. this is the first time my parents demanded such things. noon wala naman, saan at anong kaya namin, okay na sila. things change nga naman talaga. rock on! pero ang sa akin, i'll do my best that's to achieve a laude honor. pero ngayon pa lang ay tanggap ko na kung wala. pero habang may pag-asa pa, the flame of optimism still burns inside me.

moreover, with the advent of the second semester, i'm preparing myself for lonesome times. i mean, having breakfast and lunch alone which though i personally dislike, the new schedule and the situation will compel me to do so. inaasahan ko na ang mga oras ng kalungkutan lalo na at hindi ko kaklase ang mga kaibigan kong madalas kong kasama. pero classmate ko ngayon sina angelo and melvz. we were supposedly the los lakwatchero brothers because of what we did last summer (if my memory serves me right) which was to have movie marathon, and lakwatcha of course! pero things changed. hindi man nila alam or hindi man nila napapansin, i feel aloof when i'm with them. ni hindi ako minsan nakakasakay sa kanila dahil may mga bagay na alam nilang dalawa na hindi ko alam. tipong, magkasama nga kami pero parang hindi rin. perhaps, masyado lang silang nagcclick at napag-iwanan ako. haha. actually, i would have wanted to ask angelo kung bakit hindi na kami ganun ka-close ngayon kumpara nung dati pero i don't have the guts and i can't find the right timing. aaminin ko, nalungkot ako at first pero natanggap ko na. ewan. wala na akong masabi. yun lang naman ang naisip ko ngayon. ACCEPTANCE and good thing that hindi ako yung taong sinisiksik ang sarili. haha.

moving on, what i am actually worried about this new semester is the prospect of me having many lonesome times. yun lang naman. pero still just like what i had mentioned a while ago, i am still optimistic that there are ways to reduce that lonesome times of mine. tingnan natin. maaga pa para magsalita ng tapos. GOOD LUCK FOR ME THIS SECOND SEMESTER! >.<

Aquino Facts and My Perspective

my curiosity was aroused when i saw a link of a youtube video which was entitled, Aquino Coquangco, facts they don't want you to know. actually, hindi ko ikakaila na i would have voted for noynoy during the 2010 presidential elections if indeed i was allowed to vote because of my belief that he is the most viable lesser evil among the presidential aspirants. ang ibig kong sabihin ng viable ay ang mas may malaking posibilidad na manalo and lesser evil because he and his family is known to have a clean record and a hard stand against corruption. plus, the need of the times dictates that the country needs a president who can inspire the Filipino people to be united, to rally behind their government and most of all, a president who can make the Filipino people trust their government once again after almost 9 years of an administration tainted with graft, corruption and negligence. yun yung kailangan natin sa aking palagay. come to think of it, i could have endorsed Gibo or Gordon to my parents but i just think that more than Gibo's vision of a great Philippines, the Filipino people need a president who can unify the them.

if i will be asked if PNoy unified the Filipino so far, i don't really know what to answer. frankly speaking, i'm having second thoughts now if my decision to campaign noynoy to my parents and friends is correct because of the different issues that faced his barely one year and four months old administration. basta ang alam ko, and based from my observation alone, there's an atmosphere that people are now slowly giving their trust to their government. feeling ko nga, totoo na he's laidback, totoo na he lacks motivation to do what a president should do, totoo na kulang ang performance niya, buti na lang, he picked competent people to run his government (mostly but not all) like DOJ Secretary De Lima, DOE Secretary Almendras, DOF Secretary Purisima, DSWD Secretary Soliman, DFA Secretary Del Rosario and DILG Secretary Robredo to name a few. (parang si DBM Secretary Abad lang naman ang ayaw ko because of the comments he made regarding the budget cuts made in the SUCs which according to him, more funds doesn't mean high quality. ayos lang siya? funds in SUCs would mean more supplies for the professors, more improvement in infrastructure, more upgrades and laboratories and so on? now, is quality and availability of funds not connected? perhaps, i should make a separate blogpost on this).

Going back, dun lang ata siya nakakabawi. if those people will be out, PNoy will be having some hard time of having an image that his government is working very hard for the Filipino people. moving on, i find the video very much biased against the Aquino's. for one, i personally think that we cannot blame the Aquino's with regards to the decisions of Ysidra and is there any concrete evidence with regards to the lost of the treasures of the First Philippine Republic and the rise of Ysidra Coquangco as one of the richest person in the Philippines during the 1900's? Can we blame Cory alone for the flaws of the 1987 Constitution when there are in fact 48 people who framed the constitution and what Cory did was to appoint them and perhaps campaign for the ratification of the consitution? Is it correct and valid to directly drag the name of the Aquino family with the killing of the people who supported the battle of hacienda luisita farmers when in fact, the Aquino family only owns 1% of the Hacienda Luisita property because it is owned by a corporation? Same with the SCTEX, i think the money didn't go to the Aquino's, the money went to the Coquangco-owned corporation which owns the hacienda luisita property. But on the other hand, kung may pinaniniwalaan man ako sa video, that's the part where Cory did nothing or perhaps did not exert much effort in giving the piece of land that the Hacienda Luisita farmers deserve which kahit hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin naman inaaksyunan ni PNoy. PNoy have more or less five years to do what her mother failed to do with Luisita but the sooner he address it, the better.

if i had used my emotions while watching the video, perhaps i am now starting to hate the Aquino's because it is what the video implies - that we should hate the Aquino's and the yellow 'propaganda' because it done nothing good to our country. but here's what i think, personally, i'm pro-noynoy but i can say that i'm pro-government. by that i mean, what the Philippines need at this moment is to support their government regardless of the sitting president. but support shall also be coupled with critiquing as the need arises. Filipino people should be open-minded and critical because what the government does definitely affects them. we can never see a GREAT COUNTRY when what we are doing is just criticizing, criticizing and criticizing. try supporting  and doing our own little part and the moment we stood as one in support of our government, that's the moment we can climb up the ladder of progress.
